Over fifteen thousand years ago, an amazing invention took flight for the very first time. Then with more experimentation and careful observations of birds, the Australian Aborigines fashioned a unique aerodynamic boomerang.

This "V" shaped carved piece of wood, can be thrown in a manner to cause it to fly in a circular path, and return safely to the hands of it's pilot. The ASA logo portrays a boomerang in flight symbolizing strength, precision and innovation.

With a continued spirit of creativity the ASA embraces these qualities to move forward and prepare the space generation.
