In a nutshell, we are endeavouring to bring together a group of professional people with unique talent and a charismatic spirit to contribute scientifically and commercially to the on-going development of the Australian Space Agency (ASA).
That's right; the ASA exists and is underway. Even though we are in our infancy and this is probably the first time you have heard about it, we believe our structure will facilitate one of our primary tasks. That is to establish cooperation and harmonization of space activities in Australia that are both economical and sustainable. We will also intend to provide equitable access to space technology and its applications to the aerospace industry and wider community.
The ASA has been established as an Australian company and is registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). It has been created this way to accommodate the structure needed to provide an equitable platform for all involved and to establish a sound financial operating environment.
